Herbert Fletcher, a 42-year-old American man, was sentenced on June 1st, 2023, to 7.5 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of minors in Colombia.
Fletcher would take pictures and videos of his victims being sexually exploited and post them online and sell them to other American sex tourists.
OUR Rescue worked with local law enforcement to obtain digital evidence against Fletcher and his associates. The combined effort resulted in the rescue and survivor care of eight girls.
One of the survivors said, “I learned what real love is through OUR Rescue – they like having me around and helping me with school without asking for anything in return. I consider the family of OUR Rescue the mom and dad that I never got to experience. Seeing and feeling that love for the first time is helping me know what to give to my kids in the future.”
“It feels very beautiful to be free,” said one of the women.
