On Friday, February 27, at approximately 8:00 a.m., detectives from the Frederick Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit executed a search and seizure warrant in the 300 block of Ballenger Center Drive as part of an ongoing investigation. During the execution of the warrant, detectives arrested Richard Lynn Rose, Jr. for multiple offenses involving children, with incidents dating back to January 2024 and as recently as December 2025.Â
Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, no additional details will be released at this time.
Rose has been charged with four (4) counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor and is currently being held without bond at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
